James is an outstanding Sports Medicine Consultant, with a wealth of experience in elite sports. I have had the pleasure of working closely with James for many years, and we have collaborated extensively. James is clinically superb and combines this with a very relaxed and approachable bedside manner that patients have found very reassuring. Dr Thing was very patient and reassuring, explaining the procedure to me and what the pitfalls could be. He is very approachable and easy to talk to.

I went to see Dr Thing with pain in my arm, the minute i walked through the door i was made to feel at ease, Dr thing was great and took his time listening to me .After a thorough examination he explained very clearly what he thought was wrong with my arm,he gave me options for treatments, in the end i had to have a hydrodiletation steroid injection which Dr Thing administered him self, i did not feel a thing and i am now pain free.Dr Thing is very caring and an excellent doctor.

I went to see Dr Thing with suspected frozen shoulders (two at once!). He diagnosed them instantly and at the next appointment administered steroid injections which worked brilliantly. I’m now back to almost a full range of movement. Dr Thing has a calm and friendly style, and I felt in safe hands. I was also able to email him with a query between appointments. It was easy to get appointments with him - the clinic is open late in the evenings.

Dr James Thing is an excellent practitioner. He was very nice to deal with, clearly very knowledgeable and interested in his specialty and thorough. Dr Thing was also very conscientious with his aftercare.
