An ultrasound-guided injection can settle pain and restore movement quickly — but for many conditions, such as frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and knee arthritis, the window it opens is best used for targeted rehabilitation. A good physiotherapist rebuilds strength, mobility and confidence so the improvement holds. We will always tell you honestly when rehab is the priority, and help you find the right person for it.
For patients: after your consultation and any injection, we can recommend a physiotherapy or rehabilitation clinic near you and share a brief summary of your diagnosis and treatment, so your therapist can pick up exactly where we left off. There is never any obligation — you are free to see your own therapist.
For clinicians: we work both ways. We refer patients who need hands-on rehabilitation to partner clinics, and we are a fast, consultant-led route for physiotherapists whose patients need an accurate diagnosis, a diagnostic ultrasound, or an ultrasound-guided injection — usually seen within 0–1 weeks at our Notting Hill, Golders Green and Henley-on-Thames clinics.
We refer patients to trusted physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinics across London and the Thames Valley, chosen for their expertise in musculoskeletal and post-injection care. If your physiotherapist referred you to us, we will keep them updated throughout so your rehabilitation continues seamlessly — and if you need someone local, we will point you to the right clinic.
